These Bang Bang Salmon Bowls are incredibly easy to prepare and come together in less than 30 minutes. Crispy, seasoned salmon is paired with a creamy homemade Bang Bang sauce and served over fluffy rice with fresh vegetables for a flavorful, restaurant-quality meal.

Step 1: Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then cut them into evenly sized bite-sized cubes.

Transfer the salmon to a large mixing bowl and drizzle with the olive oil.

Add the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and optional chili powder. Gently toss until every piece is evenly coated with the seasoning blend.

Allow the salmon to marinate for 10 minutes while preparing the sauce.

Step 2: Prepare the Bang Bang Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Taste and adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha if desired.

Set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Salmon

Air Fryer Method

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange the salmon cubes in a single layer inside the basket.

Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is lightly browned and flakes easily with a fork.

Skillet Method

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

Add a small drizzle of olive oil.

Cook the salmon for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve a crispy exterior.

Step 4: Coat with the Sauce

Transfer the cooked salmon to a clean bowl.

Drizzle with about half of the prepared Bang Bang sauce and gently toss until every piece is coated.

Reserve the remaining sauce for serving.

Step 5: Assemble the Bowls
